Installation & Commissioning

Trained and qualified TVC technicians perform start-up functions at the customer site. TVC technicians terminate field wiring internal to TVC’s panels as follows:

• Two-conductor shielded analog field wires
• All thermocouple wires
• All digital signal wires
• Power circuits
• All communications cables

Electrical schematics are yellow highlighted during start-up wiring to document that each circuit is terminated.

After the completion of wire terminations, start-up technicians begin start-up tests. This steps them through preliminary checks and power up of the complete system. When all circuits test satisfactorily, the system is released to engineering.

Engineering performs complete system testing with hardware and software. All results are documented. Start-up technicians assist engineering with problems encountered during this final phase of the start-up testing.

Start up personnel complete Customer Service Reports listing all work accomplished and these completed forms are sent to the customer to keep them abreast of the on-site progress.
